Anna Fenninger was born and raised in the Austrian region of Salzburg, where she became since an early age a successful skier.
At her debut at the Junior World Championships in 2006, Fenninger won the gold in the Super-G, silver in the Downhill, and finished fifth in the Slalom: the evidence she could perform great in all alpine disciplines, that led her to the Europa Cup Overall title in the same season.
The World Cup debut came the following winter, when she scored her first points in Cortina d’Ampezzo, and nailed again the Europa Cup title.
After five more medals at Junior World Champs, in the 2009 season she achieved her first World Cup podium result, to become quickly one of the most winning skier in the White Circus, with the Overall title and Olympic Gold in 2014.

Her popularity is also due to the passion for Harley Davidson motorbikes, nature and wild animals. She loves travelling and is committed to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) that she supports through a photo calendar and several other projects, having also visited thier center in Namibia.
